Unlock The Roadblocks To Your Success.
What Gets In The Way Of Your Success?

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to live a charmed life, where everything goes their way and they receive everything they ever wanted?
They get the awards, the accolades, and achievements, they get their dream jobs, promotions, the deluxe house, the salary, and the happy family.
How come they get to have it all while the rest of us continue to struggle, seemingly unable to get out of that rut and get ahead in life?
Are you feeling bogged down with bills to pay, living paycheck to pay check and wondering how to get out of the job you hate? Perhaps, your personal life has been unsuccessful and you seem to sabotage any happiness that comes your way.
You might be surprised to learn that successful people do not get stuff handed to them on a silver platter.
They work for what they have, and they also have a certain mindset that is based on positivity, perseverance, and dedication to their goals.
If success has eluded you, then please read on, for in the following words you will find the secret to manifesting your wildest dreams…

You Hold The Key To Success
Believe it or not, success is not fundamentally about hard work and elbow grease. Success is for the most part, about MINDSET, about 80% according to some business coaches and gurus and that is a lot!
You may think that you have no control over your thoughts, that your “monkey mind” is programmed to think negatively and that there is little you can do about it. Well, that is simply not true.
You absolutely DO have control over your mind and YOU have the power to change your negative thoughts into positive thoughts, one thought at a time.
Even though you may have been dealt a rough lot in life, it is ultimately your attitude, which determines your level of success.
Do you realize that you DO NOT HAVE TO work in a fast food restaurant? Do you know that there are endless opportunities awaiting your attention? Do you believe that there is something better waiting for you to engage it? Sometimes just realizing such simple truths can allow you to open your mind to begin the road to success.
You Sabotage Your Own Success!

Many of us develop feelings of shame and unworthiness in early childhood.
These in turn foster beliefs about ourselves and the world around us that can lead to keeping us in unproductive behavioral patterns. In short, our negative beliefs can cause us to sabotage our own success. We can be our own worst enemies!
Once we become aware of these core beliefs, we can set about changing them.
They are just beliefs. They are not facts. It makes sense to choose beliefs that serve us in a healthy and constructive way doesn’t it, rather than choosing beliefs that bring us down, and make us feel worthless and incompetent?
Successful people tend to have a strong sense of belief in their own abilities. It is possible to cultivate this sense of self-efficacy.
Changing Negative Beliefs
We can develop a stronger sense of our own capacity to achieve success by changing our negative beliefs. Changing your negative beliefs is a habit that once you get into can literally transform your life.
Every time you notice you are having a negative thought, replace it with a positive one!
Negative thinking keeps us stuck in a place of low energy, stagnation, and feelings of despair, helplessness, and hopelessness, where it is hard to get much done.
Once you get out of the negative downward spiral of unhappy thoughts, you will start to spiral up towards higher, happier, more positive thoughts and emotions.
You will feel more energized and in turn, you will begin to attract to you more positive events that lead to your success. One step will lead to another and soon you will be in the “flow” of abundance thinking and manifesting.
Visualization
Many of the world’s successful entrepreneurs and athletes use the art of visualization to picture their goals, often on a daily basis.
By using the imagination to “see” in detail the outcome you wish to achieve, you actually begin to forge new neural pathways in the brain, that start to direct you to behave in a way that can lead to reaching goals, according to the images you have been reinforcing.
It sounds incredible doesn’t it? However, there is now plenty of neuroscience to back it up. So start thinking of your ideal outcomes. Imagine them in as much detail as you can, including colors, sounds and sensations, feelings, emotions and so on.
Try to include as many of the senses as you can as this will help to strengthen the unconscious mind’s new “habit loop” and will reinforce the new behaviors to take to achieve your goal.
Gratitude
The art of gratitude is a magical and miraculous practice that will open doors in ways you never thought possible.
Every evening before you sleep, write down 10 things you are grateful for. This will increase your sense of gratitude. Be sure to languish in the feeling of gratitude.
The more you can experience the feeling sense of being thankful, the more it will work wonders in your life. Make a habit of giving thanks for successful outcomes, even before they have happened.
When you have the inner conviction that things have already turned out well for you, you radiate an energy of competence and calm and positivity; this attracts to you the very forces that lead you to your successful outcome.
Cultivating gratitude puts you into one of the highest emotional states you can experience.
It will bring you feelings of joy and contentment, no matter where you are at in life, no matter how much or how little you have. Once you have the feeling of gratitude, you then naturally attract more to be grateful about.
Don’t Take This Life Personally
Remember that if somebody loves you, it is not about you, and if somebody hates you, it is not about you!
Each person has his or her own perspective and views; we can never fully understand where another person is coming from. Therefore, if they judge us, it is ultimately about them, not us!
Having this understanding helps us to avoiding wasting energy on reactions such as feeling hurt by another person’s behavior.
We can let other people’s opinions of us roll off us like “water off a duck’s back.” This leaves us free to focus on what really matters and to concentrate on reaching our goals.

Act As If
Similar to the adage, “Fake it till you make it,” acting “as if” is a way to hasten the manifestation of your goals.
If you act as though you are successful, even before you are, people will respond to you as if you are already successful, and will treat you accordingly with respect and admiration.
Think about what happens if you go around acting like a failure: do people even notice you?
Chances are you are getting what you want: to be hidden and stay invisible. This probably served you well for some good reason as a small child, but now you need to develop different and more productive strategies.
Staying small no longer serves you. Act as if you are confident, wealthy, and successful and the world will treat you in kind.
Smiling to greet the day, even when you don’t feel like it, has proven scientific benefits.
When we turn the corners of our mouth upwards, we begin to feel happiness. So even if you feel grumpy, force yourself to smile and you will almost instantly feel happier.
Affirmations
Affirmations are positive, present tense statements using “I,” that you can repeat to yourself repeatedly, in order to set up new neural pathways of positive thinking in the brain.
For example, if you feel insecure about, say, your performance in an upcoming meeting, you can turn your negative thinking around and use a positive statement such as “I am confident in my abilities,” or “I am grateful for the successful outcome of this meeting” and so on.
Make Goals
Identifying your goals and having long-term goals can be very helpful.
Once you know what your goals are, you can break down the tasks needed to accomplish your goals; breaking the tasks down into manageable chunks can help you see progress, one step at a time, and keep you motivated to move forward incrementally to accomplishing the ultimate goal.
Using the SMART acronym can help you achieve your goals. It stands for:
- Specific: get very clear. Write down in accurate detail the goal
- Measurable: You will know when you have achieved your goal, and are able to determine timelines for accomplishment
- Agreed Upon: Make sure all concerned are on board with the project and on the same page too
- Realistic: Make sure it is within your means, that you have the know-how and enough time
- Time-Based: Know how long it is going to take you, and set
- an end date to accomplish the goal by

Be Open To Opportunities
Hugely wealthy entrepreneur Richard Branson, is successful because he has an incredible knack for seeing opportunities.
Not only does he notice opportunities when they arise, but he is then ready to act on them instantaneously.
He “strikes while the iron is hot” and is not afraid to take risks. These are all important qualities one can and must cultivate in order to achieve success.
Take Action
Nothing happens without action. We must take the steps required to make the outcome successful. Action is the answer!
It’s a sad fact that many people are just whiners, they complain and talk a lot about how much the guy next door has, but they never take any steps to achieve such things for themselves.
This is a fruitless path, it yields nothing but remaining in a stagnant pool of envy, with nothing to show for it.
You want what they guy next door has? Then go and get it! Whatever it is that you want, YOU have to take action to get it!
Ask yourself, “What three actions can I take today that will move me closer to my goals?” Then, be sure to take those three actions!

Stay Present
Famous Yogi Yogananda, who brought yoga to North America in the first half of the twentieth century, was convinced that by staying in the present moment, the future would take care of itself.
He said, “Live each moment completely and the future will take care of itself. Fully enjoy the wonder and beauty of each moment.”
Mindfulness is about staying present; become aware of your every breath, your bodily sensations and focus single mindedly upon the task at hand. This way you will achieve success.
Prioritize
Divide your tasks up into four different categories:
- Do Now
- Do Next
- Do Later
- Don’t Do
Then, take each task one step and one breath at a time. Focus totally on the task you are engaged with and do not let your mind wander. Prioritizing and staying present allows you to be efficient in the use of your energy.

Final Thoughts
Now you know that your mind is the key to your success.
You can choose: are you your own worst enemy, or your own best friend?
The power to succeed is in your hands. No matter the kind of hand you have been dealt in life, by changing your thoughts from negative to positive, you can start moving towards a successful life.
- Gratitude is a powerful tool that allows you to receive more abundance, once you truly master the art of feeling grateful, each and every day, and even better, each and every moment of each and every day. It truly is a magical and transformative tool.

- Don’t waste your time and energy taking things personally, remember, it is never about you!
- Acting “as if” gives you an opportunity to exude an air of confidence and success. Others will pick up on this and treat you accordingly. Your body will also believe you, and you will set up new success channels in your neural pathways.
- Positive statements or affirmations are a powerful way to overcome negative thinking and keep you spiraling up into the positive mindset of the successful.
- Stay open to new possibilities and be ready to jump on them as soon as you see them. Take risks. Make goals, using the SMART acronym to help you stay on track. Take action: three actions a day will keep you moving forward to towards your long-term goals.

By moving consistently and steadily towards your goals and keeping a positive, open mind, you are sure to achieve success.
