It’s not uncommon in this life to lose hope.
Many of us get down at times when life doesn’t go our way, or when we constantly face setbacks and challenges that we find it difficult or impossible to overcome.
I have personally met many people who have lost hope, some of them never even had hope to begin with.
It really goes without saying that if you have given up on yourself, if you have given up on the hope of ever improving your life and your situation, you are in desperate need of a change.
Fortunately for you, you have come to the right place.
Now we can get back to the positivity again; I want to give you some tips for helping you to overcome the state of despair that you find yourself in.

Firstly, you need to understand that you are not alone.
Many people fall into the same trap that you have.
I myself have been there many times. However, since my low points were very extreme, I had no choice but to find a way back up from them.
I learned of many various techniques and strategies to overcome the state of hopelessness, and helplessness that I was in.
Let me introduce some of them to you.
Self-Hypnosis –
The art of self-hypnosis is commonly misunderstood and overlooked today. People are unsure whether it works, how to do it properly, or they think that it is some kind of magical power used to control and manipulate people.
This couldn’t be farther from the truth.
The main function of self-hypnosis is to influence your thoughts, emotions and behaviours in a way that improves your life. It has the ability to bring about radical positive change and that is what we want to utilize it for.
One of the simplest methods of self-hypnosis is the internal visualization of a happy and positive experience.
You begin by finding yourself a comfortable location where you can sit and be free of any kind of external influences.
You imagine inside your mind’s eye, something that you consider to be very positive.
This can be a person who makes you smile, an event or place where you know you would feel better about your life or situation, and it can even be a memory of a time, place, or thing that made you happy.
By visualizing this inside your mind, you will begin to alter your emotions in that moment, making yourself feel better in the real world.
This is only one of the techniques.
Some others are, physical exercise, meditation, counselling and personal-development. All of these, including self-hypnosis, are extremely deep and complex disciplines, so I won’t be able to cover them here.
However, by outlining the simple technique of self-hypnosis above, I want to plant an idea in your mind.
This idea is;
You can change your life, by using the power of your own mind.
This can be understood simply as follows;
If you have given up on yourself, it is because you don’t know that inside your mind exists the power to completely transform everything about your life. If you knew this, and you knew how to do it, you wouldn’t have given up. You would in fact be designing the exact kind of life you want to live.
By inquiring more deeply into your life, into your mind, you will unlock this potential.
So, I ask you, have you had enough of the life that you are living?
Have you given up on yourself to the point where you can’t take the thought of having to do this anymore?
If you answer yes to those questions, you are in same situation I was just a few years ago.
